Sounds like they're just trying to add more fiber to our diets right? Win win. What could go wrong? Sounds like this stuff belongs in the snake oil aisle at our local stores. Actually, it would be interesting if there was an aisle dedicated to crap like this. Like a non-FDA approved aisle. "Eat at your own risk" kind of aisle. I bet there would be some tasty stuff for sure. Toxic? Yes. Tasty? You bet...

This isn't just a Parm cheese problem, this is a nation wide food problem. Unless you're buying organic food, you're getting all kinds of fillers and chemicals in EVERYTHING that improve manufacturing/harvesting yield, extend shelf life and appearance, and enhance the taste to get you hooked. American food companies are dirty, and our FDA allows it.
