Favorite Non conventional Mod

What’s the one mod you have done to your boat you like the most. Not ballast, PP, etc. something you did for you.

Are there any more you wish you did sooner?

Jet getting back into wakeboarding. Sold my 95SS 3 years ago. Just got a mint unmodded 97ss. Got the tower, racks, speakers, bimini in my living room already. Looking to hear about some other mods.

Best mod was installing a dual battery charger.

Out of everything I've done to my boat I'd have to say adding the decking kit that I did this spring. Nicer on the feet, no longer slippery especially when listed, and just overall updates the look of the boat.

Anchor buddy line. When a big wave or strong wind blows the line stretches and doesn't drag the anchor. Then the boat goes right back to where you were.

Removed the stock head unit, replaced it with Exile digital media center with a dual zone volume knob. Power is tied to it's own switch and not the ignition. If we aren't talking ballast and the experience behind the boat then I have to stick with upgrades that improve my passenger's experience. If the boat didn't come with a heater I'd say that for sure.

Two best changes to my boat were FAE, and the heaters I installed. Quiet with no fumes, and toasty warm wife and kids on cold days or when they are wet.

I have not taken any pics yet. Here are a few from the dealer. The weather in NC has been complete PooP since getting it.

I love the decking kit! What company did you get those from? I have kept my box anchor and anchor buddy since purchasing them 3 boats ago! Love them both!

Should have the tower, speakers, and Bimini on this weekend and I will take more pics. I did not do the standard FCT so hopefully it works out. Wanted to do an updated look.

Had that same boat and loved that boat.

That ski pylon is held in with only four bolts I think. Take that baby out then go to Home Depot and buy a round electrical box cover. Spray it down with some truck bed liner from Auto Zone or Napa. And screw that down over the hole. I will give you a lot more room in the boat. I had my boat like this for years and it looked almost factory.

Also If you plumb in fat sac's!!!

The Fly high 1000 pound triangle open bow bag will slide nicely under your front bow pad. I fits in-between the carpet and the bottom panel under the bow pad. It won't fill completely but you probably get a solid 500 pounds out of it and it's always out of the way.

I was surprised it wasn't already posted.

Anybody adding this stuff for 2019?

I've got another sub I want to put in and am looking for the perfect under seat bow sack for the 230. Oh and a surf board rack.

That's pretty cool. what boat is that on?

was thinking of upgrading my head unit. I'll make sure I get something big enough that I can run a cam feed to.
