Hey all, I am going to UNC wilmington this fall and was wondering if any wakeworlders were from around there or knew anyone down that way i could get a pull everyonce in a while with. Also if anyone knows any good inexpensive housing. Thanks Andy Koerber

Wilmington has an awesome scene with plenty of really good riders, you probably wont have a problem finding a pull.

UNCW is a really awesome school and Wilmington is one of the most rad spots in NC to ride, you picked a good choice. There are a bunch of riders down there. Almost all of No Name Losers was filmed there and Aussie Island is the local shop in the area. The UNCW wakeboard club is also really active, you won't have a difficult time at all finding pulls.

I ride at White Lake which is a little bit of a drive from Wilmington...about 45 minutes. You have to ride early morning between 5:30-9:00am on weekends especially to get some good water. There may be something closer to Wilmington though. My wife and I typically go out, we are still learning...and older than college age so you may not be interested.
