Does anyone know where I can get that photo of Chad doing the Indie Glide over that party barge that is in the new Wakeboard Magazine? I want to email it to my brother, I did a search but came up with nothing.

sidekicknicholas 01-29-2009 5:53 AM

I think you can view whole WBM online, just find it there and Print Screen it

andy_nintzel 01-29-2009 6:36 AM

or email wbm they will hook you up a .jpeg

solo 01-29-2009 7:12 AM

I don't think they'll send him a Jpeg.

jarrod 01-29-2009 7:23 AM

I don't think they will either. The photog might send you a low res version of a similar shot. Who shot it?

benjaminp 01-29-2009 9:05 AM

Joey Meddock

polarbill 01-29-2009 10:30 PM

bmr82 01-30-2009 2:09 AM

andy_nintzel 01-30-2009 4:29 AM

Steven,

Yeah special like i get to ride the little bus.....

vlxray 01-30-2009 5:34 AM

That is ridiculous. Chad is the man!

vlxwakeboarder 01-30-2009 7:03 AM

How and the world does he try and land that on flat water. Can't imagine the impact.

vlxray 01-30-2009 7:12 AM

The impact must be brutal. The crazy thing is that Chad is one of the few pros who has not had a major knee injury. I remember reading an interview with him where he said he thought this was due to the fact that he uses very stiff bindings.

phxwakeguy 01-30-2009 7:20 AM

Plz tell me thats off a double.

vlxwakeboarder 01-30-2009 7:35 AM

Off a massive kicker hauling ass.

wakebrdr38 01-30-2009 9:01 AM

uhhhh... hate to break it to Chad but stiff bindings saves ankles and usually destroys knees. A stiff binding keeps your leg up and down so if you go out the back, your lower leg cant go with you. Look at watson, he wears stiff boots and look at all the knee problems hes had. Its pick your poison, save your ankles or save your knees

alevitt 01-30-2009 9:02 AM

Chad explained to me the concept for the ramp last summer. Instead of building a kicker-style ramp, this was more of a ski jump. Apparently the boat speed and direction played a big part in lessening the impact on the landing. I think he said the boat would actually be turning away from him while he's in the air and that would somehow decrease the impact.

wakecis 01-30-2009 10:09 AM

ski flying concepts

jame04 01-30-2009 12:03 PM

WOW, if anyone does find a way to get that pic I would like to know where and how!

wakeboard_pittsburgh 01-30-2009 12:19 PM

That is insane! Joey or WBM needs to make that into a poster...

mtownrydr 01-30-2009 1:50 PM

I like the keg stand going on in the pic...that is classic!

blake_hughes 01-30-2009 3:32 PM

I sent a message to Wakeboarding Magazine... Meybe we'll get lucky! I'll let you know, but keep in mind... I, unlike Andy, don't know anyone.

steve_jones 02-11-2009 11:42 PM

That's one of the coolest shots ever! Joey Meddock took it. Chad was telling me that the kicker was 8 or so feet tall, 10 or so wide, and 20 something long. WOW!! He hit it at 26mph. WHOA NELLY!
