What is your home cable park?

Hey guys,

I was just wondering what is your nearest cable or what cable you prefer that is close?

Or do you only ride boat?

My home parks are Next Level Ride in Austin and BSR in Waco, I sort of alternate between the two.

But yeah where does everyone ride?!

I split Hangar 9 and Wakenation (Houston), but as hard as I try, I'm still primarily a boat bro.

i ride boat on the red river in Louisiana for the most part

I ride at Velocity Island Park and Wake Island pretty equally, both are near Sacramento, CA. Only Velocity is open all year though.

I ride Flip Side Watersports at Oak Mountain State Park in Pelham, AL... http://www.flipsideal.com/
2 - 2.0 cables (beginner and advanced)

I also go over to Georgia and ride at Terminus http://terminuswakepark.com/

Overall I'm an old school boat rider and always will be, but it's fun to ride cable for a rail sesh every now and then.

No cable parks super near me in Salt Lake. Occasionally I'll make it to Cable Factory ( 2 2.0s) in Rexburg, ID. Other than that, I grew up in upstate NY. Love hitting Roseland Wake Park when I am back there visiting. Always a good time.

Shark Wake Park. Myrtle Beach, SC

Cowtown Wakepark in Fort Worth was mine but they closed over a year ago due to flooding. Republic Wakepark opened at the very end of summer in the same spot so I guess they are my home park now but I haven't been yet. These days I'm back to primarily being a boat rider. I do want to check out Republic though when they open for the year.

Hydrous in Dallas, open year round by the way.

^^^^Yet the Houston parks are still closed another 2 weeks. I have been in trunks since Feb 8. The water on my river is 74F. I'm borrowing a 150 Kinetic for the weekend and I may have to make the drive to BSR.

Home Park

Our only option in South MS was Cajun X. Its a bit far for a day trip even though we did do it a few times a year. We ended up building a two tower in our pond. We had to go the DIY route to make it more afforadable. So now we usually just ride at the house. www.BackyardRailPark.com

Used to be hexagon (rip) and now it's Jibtopia ... not exactly a full size cable but better than nothing

bill 08-03-2017 5:46 AM

well given we used to have Cowtown, renamed Republic for what amonth than closed TXMC 2.0 pretty much non existent, WSR didn't open this season, I'm forced to pick one an hour plus away

my favorite is BSR-Waco close second Hydrous Little elm/lewi when they aren't running cable slow :))

I am sad that BSR closes early now for winter , its the time I typically rode a ton out there after crowds from river and slide left ..:(

however the upside is I'm primarily a boat rider and recently got another boat so no worrys :)~

bill 08-03-2017 5:47 AM

JB I'm shocked you didn't choose TSR though but glad BSR has your attendance.. you rip brother!

Phuket Wake Park and IWP. I prefer IWP but live nearer to PWP. I like them both though.
