Well I did it--got a new v215 for my family. Thanks to you on the forum for really good/quick answers to questions from a wakeboard boat newb. The Team Pro Shop crew-Don, Jason, Justin, and Angela are solid --they care about doing a good job -I was wondering how a smaller dealer out of Longview could stay in business for over 30 years with the closest nearby metropolis being in Oregon--a sales tax free state...now I know. Don took me out on the boat-totally calm clear day/mid 60's on the Columbia--this boat rides on a rail--he took me on some turns where we were pulling serious g's--kind of like a roller coaster ride-(or climbing the rope in gym class).

Oh yeah, we spent some time talking about Hate and Pain's boat--maybe he should just buy a submarine...\jg

hatepain 10-07-2009 8:08 AM

Alright man you gotta be stoked and we're gonna have good weather for a week or so. Is that your tower speaker lit up? Submarine? Cuz I run a lot of weight?

05mobiuslsv 10-07-2009 8:10 AM

Get ready for a long season of garage boating, looks like you guys are already well versed in that regard. Congrats on the new purchase.

johnny_gatsby 10-07-2009 9:30 AM

H&P yeah--cuz of the weight...re the speakers--they are Rockford Fosgates--have the LEDs in them--got em on ebay last year-not too expensive and sound good-
jg

H&P --yeah cuz of the weight--re the speakers--they are Rockford Fosgates with the LED's in them--pretty inexpensive and sound good--the guys at Pro Shop wired them up for me--
jg

hatepain 10-07-2009 6:56 PM

If I remember right he had an I/O Stingray in his profile picture previously.

johnny_gatsby 10-07-2009 9:08 PM

Issac --yes, this is an upgrade from a stern drive Stingray--hopefully will be getting the kids, wife and myself more into boarding and surfing and just hanging out in the cove...
jg

extremeisaac 10-07-2009 9:16 PM

extremeisaac 10-08-2009 10:17 AM

OHHHH this was the one where you were deciding between the green/white vs the yellow grey!

NICE!! did you end up stealing the black trailer yet?? haahah

johnny_gatsby 10-08-2009 11:30 AM

Don and I discussed your black trailer theory--decided you were "off" on that one...the yellow really pops, plus I have a gray Tahoe..

polarbill 10-08-2009 11:53 AM

You can't blame him for not wanting to sell a black green boat with a yellow trailer. It sounds like you like the trailer but if you ever decide you don't you can have it linexed.

hatepain 10-08-2009 2:36 PM

I like the color matched trailer better too.

yubasanger 10-11-2009 10:50 AM

Welcome to the Sanger family. You will love the boat. Nice choice on the color by the way and I like the yellow trailer, but then I am biased.

gerald_withanuuh 10-11-2009 10:36 PM

my dad also got a new sanger that looks just like that it rides so smooth on water its a great choice.

johnny_gatsby 10-11-2009 11:37 PM

finally got to take the boat out yesterday--what a smoooooth ride and comfortable boat--no boarding as it is getting chilly up here--nice to have a heater==can't wait til summer.

hdrew 10-14-2009 4:21 PM

I have yet to see another v215 on Lake Washington. See you out there next season. Blue / White 2005.

polarbill 10-14-2009 4:27 PM

If either of you guys ever head out on the weekends and need a third let me know. I got a dry suit, board, gas money and live in West Seattle.

By the way, sick boat Gatsby.

johnny_gatsby 10-14-2009 5:46 PM

HD--I might have seen your boat out on LW on one of those really hot days in late July or early August out in Juanita Bay. I remember seeing a Sanger-don't remember if it was a 215. That is the only Sanger I've ever seen out there.
I can see you like to go out to Cozy Cove in the mornings to find your water...
jg

steveotx 10-14-2009 9:24 PM

JG, Nice ride. I'm new to Seattle and always looking to expand my riding circle. ALWAYS up for sunrise set in the summer and drysuit fall runs. Give me a shout if you need a third or a run on the X2. Steve O

johnny_gatsby 10-14-2009 10:14 PM

Thanks guys..I need to some work before I can hang with this crowd...that is a beautiful X2--must turn a lot of heads...

duckboat 10-19-2009 11:29 AM

Thats funny in August I was looking at that sanger hard on the internet and even called about it. Just didn't seem to get enough interest from the dealer on my other boat to drive 300+ miles one way from Spokane. Don't get me wrong I had a real good conversation with them and they didn't call just to hound me. If you ever make it to the east side with your new Sanger in tow let us know.

johnny_gatsby 10-19-2009 4:10 PM

Craig, yeah the distance is a big factor--I was also looking at the 2007 black and orange 215 in Post Falls--but with the trade-in factor(they really weren't too interested in my trade) and the distance involved the logistics got too complicated...Longview is not too bad of a drive from where I am. That boat is still there--listed at $32,900....

duckboat 10-21-2009 6:55 PM

gatsby, to late for me found a this instead. Dealer gave me a fair deal on my trade for the times we are in. Still don't know if it's better or worse but it works. Still need to get a rack or two.

johnny_gatsby 10-21-2009 8:37 PM
