I read something in wakeboarding magaizinne or somewhere and there was an article about people talking about how the bottom of the boat affects the wakeboarding and they said a flat boat makes a steep wake and a v shaped bottom makes a rampy wake. which wake bottom has less WASH?

i think that the wash has to do with speed vs. weight distribution. more weight at slower speeds will give more wash.

Centurion Avalanche has the most V of any inboard wakeboat and also has the 2nd steepest wake behind the Nautiques. One of the critical factors is weight in the front makes a rampy wake.

Wash is caused by either uneven side-to-side weight or air/foam in the wake from the prop or lifting strakes in the hull.
