Enough ACL surgery posts, how about hip labrum

I realize that the knee ACL and issues is the main issue with our sport, but I was wondering if any of you have had hip labrum surgery and how long have you been post op? I just found out I have a torn labrum and am wanting to see what others are doing about it. PT for 6 weeks and then go from there. I am 31 and my neighbor(non wakeboarder) has the same issue(34).

Heard of shoulder labrum, not hip
In the shoulder there was a long surgical recovery....Your surgeon should know

Maybe people dont post about it because compared to knee surgery its not that big of a deal?
