Trump most certainly is a coward. He had every opportunity to serve his country during Vietnam, but instead hid behind his father's cash.

Funny that tweeting something stupid at a guy halfway around the globe displays bravery.

Bone spurs are no joke

95sn 01-05-2018 3:37 PM

These are not good times for trump. In addition to some old and severe bone spurs...
Know how you can tell? He try's to make headlines elsewhere...ie 1. Sessions firing up the Feds to go after legal in states marijuana. 2. Trump attempts to fire up off shore oil drilling
1.The Mueller investigation has confirmed Comeys testimony.
2. Trumps motives and intent to obstruct.
https://www.politico.com/story/2018/...-report-327077

Its all the smoke from stuff like this that will eventually add up to the bonfire.

Then there is all the drama from the new fire and fury book. Trump loves drama.

What happened to "idiocracy is now" line that you've been going at like a crazy parrot. The weird guy, never replies to anybody or joins in the thread discussion just hops on here posts "idiocracy is now" and leaves pretty wack. That meme is lame, try again.

This ought to answers some questions and raise more.

Drain the swamp. Or something.
http://www.ibtimes.com/political-cap...mpression=true

95sn 01-10-2018 3:23 PM

Trump is starting to get into panic mode. Public questioning his health, his sanity and his past.
That "negotiation" he had on TV yesterday did not exactly make him look like a jeanius. He agreed with Feinstein, then he agreed with Lindsey Graham who was saying something different. Then another senator stepped in to re-iterate what was said and asked trump to choose...im not sure but i think he choose both. ???
The release of the interrogation of Fusion GPS has plenty of info that makes the Repubs in congress look like they have been assisting in obstruction. I was both surprised and happy that Feinstein released it, that old broad has balls. Trump now calls her "sneaky Dianne". For those of you who have been hanging your hat on the dossier being fake news, bought and paid for by dirty Hillary, full of lies and on and on, its not. Not that everything has been proved...many parts have been proved true AND perhaps more important none has been proved false (other that typos and an incorrect city) but the released dossier was just a 1st draft...expect little mistakes. The Hannity/Republican/trump narrative... trying to question the integrity of Fusion,Steele, the FBI...is going to backfire big time. These guys are serious lifetime professionals. Lets see, am i going to believe James Comey, Bob Mueller, Chris Steele 3 professional investigators, veterans with extraordinary resumes and reputations who methodically do their job and take copious notes ...or... trump who happens to lie to the public on a daily basis and changes the lie as his narrative changes. The story is longer and deeper (and better) than expected, at least by me. The way that Fusion works is quite unique and detailed in the interrogation. Steele did not start out trying to find Russian dirt on trump it is just where the trail led him. Steele, freaked at what he was discovering demanded that he and Fusion contact the FBI as he thought the Russians were blackmailing a presidential candidate. Crazy.

pesos 01-10-2018 3:44 PM

Good summary. Been an interesting 36 hours for sure. I was also impressed by the balls on dianne. Things not look too good for Grassley or Nunes!

Fire and Furt is pretty interesting so far. Only about 20 pages in but fascinating to see the chronology and connections being put together coherently.

95sn 01-10-2018 5:19 PM

Yeah, Grassley and many other Repub senators were present and even interviewers of Simpson, they knew and understood what he said. They knew how damning it would be for trump. Then they go off and try to make Fusion, Simpson, Steele out to be the bad guy thru lawsuits.... That is obvious obstruction to protect trump. This is why Feinstein released it. Heads gonna roll. If they don't expect some sort of revolution. Politics is dirty but this is worse than dirty.
I'm gonna try to bury my head and read the whole interrogation as long as I can find the time.... I'll give ya'all some pointers on where to look for the good stuff.

So Drumpf nails a Pornstar 1 year after marrying Milania while she is pregnant with Baron. Wow, shocking, said no one ever. This will lose him precisely zero votes.

xstarrider 01-18-2018 2:26 AM

So where were all the dems calling for Obama’s resignation and labling him a racist after remarks about Scandinavians ???

2016.

Like it was allegedly said by President Donald Trump, President Barack Obama has a preference for people from Nordic-Scandinavian countries. But unlike Trump, the media did not attack Obama over that, even when he wished the world could be run by people from those countries.Apparently well beyond concerns about being branded a socialist, Obama on Friday celebrated the five Nordic nations as examples of reliability, equality, generosity, responsibility, even personal happiness.

As he welcomed the Nordic leaders to the White House, he owned up to thinking perhaps the small havens of social liberalism should take the reins every now and then.

AND FOR THE WIN .......... Quoting Obama

“If only everyone ( in the Middle East ) could be like the Scandinavians, this ( achieveing peace ) would all be easy.”
Taken from a massive April 2016 Atlantic article on Obama, “The Obama Doctrine” by Jeffrey Goldberg, Obama is quoted yearning for a world of Scandinavians.

So there you have a black president praising and saying more Scandinavians (whites ) in power would better for the world . Not a word of racisim was ever said from the left. Trump makes an identical statement and the left labels him a racist. Hypocricy and agenda driven news at its finest.

Trump was before the election so its a non issue unless you care that the people who run the country have morals. Trumps' a lying A-hole that more than likely lied to all 3 of his wives on a regular basis. Still is, wonder what Melania thinks about this bimbo and the irish chick from Playboy they paid $150K to keep quiet. Too bad we cant divorce him like they could.
So, who won the fake news awards?

deuce 01-18-2018 6:01 PM

Just to be clear, I didn’t care that President Clinton was getting *******s in the OO and have said that on this forum before. I also don’t care that President Trump is as faithful to each of his different wives, as President Clinton has been to his. I said then and say now, do a good job at running the country, I don’t care how you run your marriage.

That said, if you were bitching about one, better not ignore the other. If you were bitching about President Obama golfing or vacationing on the government dime, better not ignore the next President. Same goes for spending and down the line. Just be intellectually honest, the rest shakes itself out in the wash.

Carry on.

Guess its a little harder when you dont have Russian money launderers to work with to make you "look" smart.

95sn 01-19-2018 3:15 PM

So the house Investigation of Russian interference and trumps involvement ....The House released their interrogation of Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS. If you trumpers did not like the results of the Senates release of their interrogation....you are going to be really disappointed this time. This stuff is way better than the Senates interrogation.
What are you guys going to do when Trumpty Dumty hits the pavement. ??? Fake news?
Here is one little tidbit, you make up your mind. Trump buys a Florida condo for $41Million. The RE market at the time is tanking all over the country, we are into the biggest recession since 1933. Trump sells condo to Russian who pays $95Million. Ever try to sell real estate during a recession? Is this because trump is a greatest salesman in the world or because he is laundering Russian Mob money?
This thing almost reads like a spy novel once it gets going. Also in the beginning he is getting lots of questions from republicans...as the interrogation moves forward its as if the Repubs can see the writing on the wall. They practically stop asking questions...the Dems keep asking away and it gets deeper and deeper for trump.

The hypocritical left continues to roll and pile it on. Following it with the old “amnesia”response

On Friday, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) appeared on MSNBC. During his segment, host Ali Velshi played a clip of OMB Director Mick Mulvaney reciting a direct quote from Sanders regarding the 2013 government shutdown:

What they [Republicans] are saying to the American people tonight is: “Maybe we have lost the presidential election; maybe we've lost seats in the Senate and in the House. It doesn't matter! We can now bring the government to a shutdown – throw some 800,000 hard working Americans out on the street, and we are going to get our way no matter what.”

Mulvaney then commented on the Sanders quote: "This is exactly what they accused the Republicans of doing back in 2013. There is absolutely no reason to have to insert a DACA discussion, immigration discussion into the funding bill today."

After the clip, Velshi asked Sanders to respond. The seemingly flustered Senator replied: "I – that doesn’t sound like – I don’t recall saying anything like that." He quickly pivoted: "Nobody wants a shutdown. Democrats don’t want a shutdown. I think most Republicans don’t want a shutdown. The only person who has talked positively about a shutdown is the President of the United States. He said, you know, maybe the country needs a good shutdown. That was Donald Trump."

Sanders then made his point again: "I don’t want a shutdown; I don’t know anybody who does."

And I have been researching solar for my house. Damn. Now it is going to cost me more. There is 2 sides to the story. Trump chose USA manufacturers of the panels. Its going to help those manufacturers', of course its going to penalize the install side of the business. One of the biggest job growers especially in California. So the final users, USA buyers, pay more (strike 1) and US jobs will be lost on slow down of installs (strike 2). But the manufacturers' who could not compete and build panels as cheap as the Chinese continue to reap profits. Hmm, not sure i would want to reward the inefficient and penalize the Chinese (1) who are for many reasons more efficient (labor, lower overhead)...the USA buyers(2) and the entire install side of the business(3). 3 losers and 1 cherry picked winner.
Perhaps the usa manufacturing should double down on research and development and contract the Chinese to manufacture higher quality. win/win. ?? I dont know all the numbers so I could be completely off. Just thinking out loud. School me.

100% agree. 3 questions you need to answer
1. Where does the money generated from the tariff go, into the slush fund or into tech developments to bridge the gap to the Chinese?
2. Is manufacturing the future path for the usa worker, is that what they want to do, isn't it better to develop the ip and outsource the donkey work?
3. What will china's response to import tariffs, why wouldn't they slap a retaliatory tariff on US goods imported to China?

Good point, I did not even consider # 1. Wow.
Yes, agree, let us work on the R & D let china do what they are good at.
China will just continue to manipulate currency. ;)

What exactly are we good at that's going to stem the flow of our economy heading overseas? And why is manipulating currency, something that nobody has any idea of how or how much, become the talking point when we know that American workers can't compete with impoverished labor and low standards? I'm pretty sure that most Americans are not capable of R&D.

Lastly why solar power? Why not iPhones? What happened to that promise of a 45% tariff on all Chinese imports? Did it become 10%? 1%?, empty promise?

“Why Solar Panels” ? I was having a conversation about this very subject with a buddy in the Solar industry a few years back, at that time he said that China was so set on being a solar panel giant, that china was willing to sell panels even at a Loss just to make sure America company’s didn’t get started in the solar panel manufacturing business. They were making and selling product so cheep, no one here in the US would Even think about competing with them.

China violates anti-dumping laws all the time on all sorts of goods / commodities. I would assume that is why Trump was all "tariffs on Chinese imports," but I doubt anybody bothers to do anything about it. I do think something should be done, but what to do is above my pay grade and I work on complex supply chains involving China for a living.
