  The Chick Flick Prize Giveaway Bonanza (CLOSED) - It's the introduction of one of the most innovative videos in years, The Chick Flick. You had a chance to grab up one of the many prizes we gave away to celebrate the release of this all-female wakeboarding and wakeskating DVD!

  1080 Bounty (CLOSED) - It was our most ambitious cash giveaway ever. We helped push the sport of wakeboarding by joining with Ten-80 Wakeboard Gear to encourage the landing of the first 1080 caught on video. The winner, Danny Harf, received $1,080 and a lucky reader picked up some Ten-80 gear.

  Where is Concourse B? (CLOSED) - We were looking for everybody's favorite part in this B movie in the bonus section of Such Is Life. The winners grabbed a wakeboard from Concrete and DVD's from Sidewayz.

  The Wake Apprentice (CLOSED) - The new O'Brien project was looking for a web designer. The chosen apprentice will be one of the first to be fully decked out in gear and clothing from the hottest up and coming wake brand, not to mention they'll have a job!

2005 Contests

  Design Our New Malibu (CLOSED) - We needed your help in coming up with the perfect color combination for the Official Boat of WakeWorld, a 2006 Malibu Wakesetter VLX. Winners received a wakesurf board from Inland Surfer and much more.

2004 Contests

  Tige U.S. Open Prognostication (CLOSED) - We were looking for your best guess as to who was going to win the major divisions of the 2004 Tige U.S. Open in Hawaii. The entrant that picked the most correct winners grabbed a 2005 Hyperlite Parks 140 wakeboard.

  Weekend With Watson Giveaway (CLOSED) - It was two giveaways in one. First we gave you a chance to win a 2005 Liquid Force board. Then you had a shot at spending a weekend in Florida riding with Shawn Watson and picking up another Liquid Force board.

  Cassette Bi-Level Wakeskate Auction (CLOSED) - We gave you a chance to be the first on your block to own the latest technological advance from the forward thinking folks over at Cassette. It was an aution of the first 2005 Bi-Level wakeskate to be offered to the public!

  "It's Gotta Be The Shoes" Giveaway (CLOSED) - It's the biggest wakeskate giveaway ever. We gave away six pair of the new BuyWake.com DVS wakeskate shoes, three Liquid Force wakeskates and some WakeWorld tees for contributors to the Top Ten Things To Do With Your Bindings Now That You Wakeskate.

  Asterisk Wakeskate DVD Giveaway (CLOSED) - To promote the new wakeskating film from Album Films, Asterisk, we gave away ten copies to random winners that took the time to fill out the entry form with the useless information we were looking for.

  Premier Video Magazine Giveaway (CLOSED) - The release of the premiere issue of Premier from Pendelum Productions prompted us to find a way to give our readers more free shwag. All they needed to do was tell us what they look for in a wakeboarding and/or wakeskating video. Check out the question results and winners.

  Wakeboarding Unleashed for GBA Giveaway (CLOSED) - We joined with Aspyr to bring you five copies of the new Wakeboarding Unleashed Featuring Shaun Murray for Game Boy Advance. All you needed to do was tell us what you thought was the most important moment in wakeboarding for 2003.

  Wakeside Anniversary Giveaway (CLOSED) - It may be their birthday, but you're the ones that got the presents. Winners received Wakeside.com gift certificates worth up to $600 just by creating a wish list on their website.

  Tige Tag-a-Boat Giveaway (CLOSED) - We asked you to design a new logo for the side of some new Tige boats and you responded in a big way with over 200 entries! Then you voted on a winner who picked up $1,500 worth of Hyperlite gear or $1,500 in cash.

  Tubelite Stealth Giveaway (CLOSED) - We kicked off 2003 with a great giveaway to get our readers back in the wakeboarding frame of mind. It was a chance to win a Tubelite Stealth transparent wakeboard just by answering a few silly questions.

  Fantasy Wakeboarding Giveaway (CANCELED) - Unfortunately, we had to cancel this contest because of a lack of support from the company with which we partnered to handle the fantasy league administration. Because they were not able to keep the contest updated properly, we felt is was unfair to our visitors and sponsors to attempt to keep the contest going. We apologize for the inconvenience.   Wakeboard Reviews Giveaway - To introduce our latest WakeWorld feature, our board and binding reviews, we gave away ten copies of the latest release for Sony PlayStation, BursTrick Wakeboarding. Winners simply submitted board and binding reviews on the WakeWorld Board and Binding Guides and we randomly drew winners from the over 500 reviews submitted by 4/30/01.

  Project Watson Giveaway - To celebrate the release of Project Watson, we teamed up with Tommy's Online and gave away two Liquid Force Superflys, Project Watson videos and Liquid Force hats signed by Shawn Watson himself.

  WakeWorld's Weekly Giveaway - 2000 kicked off with even more weekly giveaways than 1999. Sponsored by Tommy's Surf, Slalom and Guitar, we gave stuff away every week for the first seven months of the year. Winners picked up anything from fins to clothes to accessories to the board that Shawn Watson used to hit the first competitive 900.

  Liquid Force Wide Awake Video Trivia - We gave you the first crack at winning a copy of the new video from Liquid Force, Wide Awake.   WakeWorld's X Games Tee Shirt Giveaway - WakeWorld and ESPN's X Games teamed up to deck out WakeWorld visitors with some official X Games apparel. For each medal awarded in the X Games wakeboarding event, we gave away a free tee shirt. That's right. WakeWorld visitors had a chance to win one of six tee shirts for doing nothing more than a little poking around on their favorite website.

Throughout the WakeWorld website we placed six images similar to the one on the right. WakeWorld visitors raced through the website trying to find at least one of the images. The first lucky visitors to find each of the images won a free X Games tee shirt. Said lucky winners are as follows:

  WakeWorld's Slogo Contest - We finally finished wading through more than 500 entries in our WakeWorld slogan and logo contest and came up with some deserving winners. We gave away three wakeboards from Iconn, Core and Insane. We also gave away a whole mess of WakeWorld tee shirts that will bear the new winning logos. Thanks to all who entered!

  WakeWorld's O'Brien Culprit Giveaway in Orlando - During the first stop of the Professional Wakeboard Tour in Orlando, WakeWorld set up shop and gave away an O'Brien Culprit wakeboard to promote the website. We had several hundred entries but picked just one out of the bunch to receive this all-new 126 cm board. The winner turned out to be just the right size for it: Grom. It was 4' 11" Austin Miller from Michigan.
